Privacy Policy

Nomadic Futures, Inc. (“Nomadic Futures”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) operates szn, an AI-powered personal assistant available at theszn.ai (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

This policy covers the Service as a whole. For the specific terms of our text messaging program, see the Terms of Service.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

Name and email address
Mobile phone number, if you provide one
Profile photo, timezone, and addresses you choose to save
The content of the tasks you ask us to complete, and any details you supply to complete them (for example, a party size, a preferred appointment window, or a contact number for a business)
Payment information, which is collected and stored by our payment processor — we do not store full card numbers

Information generated by using the Service

Records, recordings, and transcripts of phone calls placed on your behalf
Emails sent and received through system-managed inboxes on your behalf
Text messages sent and received as part of completing your tasks, including the phone numbers involved, message content, timestamps, and delivery status
Task history, agent activity, and results

Information collected automatically

Device and browser information, IP address, and approximate location derived from it
Usage and diagnostic data, including error logs

Information from connected accounts

If you connect a third-party account such as Google, we access only the data covered by the permissions you grant, and only to complete the tasks you request. szn's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

2. How We Use Information

To complete the tasks you ask us to complete, including contacting businesses and other third parties on your behalf by phone, email, and text message
To send you account, security, and task-related notifications
To respond to your support requests
To operate, secure, debug, and improve the Service
To process payments and manage subscriptions
To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to serve you third-party advertising.

3. Mobile Information and Text Messaging

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as messaging and telephony providers, is permitted solely to deliver messages you or the Service initiate. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We collect your mobile phone number when you provide it in your account settings or when it is needed to complete a task. We use it to send you transactional and conversational messages relating to the Service and to your tasks, and to receive your replies.

We do not sell, rent, lease, or trade mobile phone numbers, text messaging opt-in records, or consent data. We do not use them for marketing, and we do not provide them to data brokers, advertisers, or lead generators.

You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. Opt-out requests are honored immediately and permanently for that number unless you later reply START. Reply HELP for assistance, or email hello@theszn.ai. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply.

4. How We Share Information

To complete your tasks

When you ask the Service to arrange something, we share only the information necessary to complete that request with the third party involved — for example, giving a restaurant a name and party size for a reservation. You control what information you give us for a task.

Service providers

We use third-party providers for infrastructure and hosting, AI model inference, telephony and voice, SMS delivery, email delivery, payment processing, and analytics. They may process personal information only on our instructions and only to provide services to us. They are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Legal and safety

We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Nomadic Futures, our users, or the public.

Business transfers

If Nomadic Futures is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

What we never do

We do not sell personal information. We do not share Google user data with third parties except as described above. We do not share mobile opt-in or consent data with anyone.

5. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Task data, including call recordings, transcripts, and message history, is retained so that you can review what happened on your behalf, and is deleted when you delete the associated task or your account. We may retain limited records where required for legal, accounting, or security purposes.

6. Security

Information is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is restricted to the automated systems that need it to execute your tasks and to authorized personnel for support and operational purposes. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Access and correction — view and update your profile information in your account settings
Deletion — delete individual tasks, or your entire account, at any time
Communication consent — grant or withdraw consent for outbound email, calls, and text messages per channel in your settings
Text message opt-out — reply STOP to any message
Disconnect accounts — revoke access to any connected third-party account

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the CCPA or GDPR, including the right to request a copy of your data or to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@theszn.ai.

8. Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.

9. International Users

The Service is operated in the United States. If you use it from elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we will provide notice through the Service or by email, and update the effective date above.
